Requesting a feature

Tell us what would make QuestLog better - your idea goes straight to the team, gets reviewed, and can turn into something we build.

QuestLog is shaped by the people who use it. If something is missing, awkward, or would save you time, tell us - it goes directly to the team.

How to send an idea

Click Request a feature (the 💡 in the left sidebar, near Help center and Settings). A short form opens - describe the feature or change in your own words. The most useful requests say what you want and why: the problem you're trying to solve matters more than a specific solution, because it helps us find the best fix.

Tick Email me if this gets built to hear back when your idea ships. That's optional - you can send anonymously without it.

What happens next

  1. It reaches the team the moment you send it. Every request is read.
  2. We review and qualify it - is it a fit, who else would it help, how big is it. Some ideas we approve on the spot; for others we may follow up for detail.
  3. Approved ideas feed our roadmap. They get planned, built, and shipped like any other work.
  4. If you opted in, we email you when it goes live.

Good requests vs. great ones

  • Good: "Add custom tags to recordings."
  • Great: "I record calls for three different clients and can't tell them apart in my library. Some way to label and filter by client would save me a lot of scrolling." - now we understand the real need and might solve it even better than you asked.

Bugs and something-is-broken reports are welcome here too, but if you're stuck right now, How long transcription takes (and stuck recordings) and Upload failed or stuck may get you unblocked faster.

Thanks for helping build QuestLog. We read every idea.
