How long does it take?

Most recordings finish faster than real-time - a 10-minute clip is usually ready in a minute or two. Longer files take longer because they're split into chunks and transcribed piece by piece (see Why a long recording splits into parts).

What the statuses mean

A recording moves through uploaded → transcribing → diarizing → summarizing → done. That's normal progress, not an error.

It seems stuck

• Give a long or multi-hour file a few extra minutes.
• QuestLog transcribes on a private GPU, so at busy times there can be a short queue - it clears on its own.
• If a recording sits unchanged for a long while, re-open it or use re-process from the recording menu.
