Diarization labels speakers SPEAKER_00, SPEAKER_01, etc. You can give them real names two ways.

Rename them yourself

Open a recording. In the Speakers strip up top (or the legend in the Transcript tab), click any speaker chip and type a name. It flows everywhere - transcript, Markdown/PDF exports, share pages, and Google Drive notes.

Let AI guess

Click ✦ AI guess. QuestLog reads the whole transcript and infers each speaker's name (from introductions and people addressing each other) or a role if no name is recoverable.

Re-running AI guess improves on its own previous guesses but never overrides a name you set by hand.
