Merging recordings

Combine a stop/start discussion into one master with parts.

If a discussion was recorded in several pieces, merge them into one.

How

  1. In the library, toggle ⛓ Merge.
  2. Tick 2 or more recordings.
  3. Click Merge, then choose:

- Re-summarize together - QuestLog rebuilds one combined summary, highlights and action items across all parts.

- Keep each summary - every part keeps its own.

The oldest selected becomes the master; the rest roll up under it and leave the main list.

On the master

Open the master to see a Parts panel. You can play any single part, and remove a part (two-click confirm) to pull it back out. Merging is reversible - the originals are never destroyed.
