Connect QuestLog to Claude

Connect QuestLog to Claude (Desktop or claude.ai) and ask about your recordings - setup, what you can ask, and the built-in skill.

Ask Claude about your recordings

Connect QuestLog to Claude and ask it anything about your recordings - Claude reads your transcripts, summaries, notes and stories, and can make safe edits, all scoped to your own account.

Connect (one time)

  1. In Claude (Desktop or claude.ai), open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Click Add custom connector.
  3. Paste the QuestLog connector URL:

  1. Click Add, then Connect. A QuestLog page opens - sign in with Google, Apple, or email using the same account you use for QuestLog.
  2. Done - Claude now has a QuestLog connector.

What you can ask

  • "What recordings do I have?" or "Search my recordings for the budget meeting."
  • "Summarize my interview with Alex - what were the action items?"
  • "What stories did I record about the war?"
  • "Name speaker 2 as Olga, then re-summarize."
  • "Add a note to yesterday's meeting: follow up with Priya."

What Claude can do

Claude can read your transcripts, summaries, highlights, notes and stories, and make safe edits - add notes, name speakers, rename recordings, and re-run summaries or story extraction. It can work across all your recordings, but it cannot delete anything, and only ever sees your own data.

The QuestLog skill (built in)

You don't install anything extra. When you connect, QuestLog ships a skill with the connector that teaches Claude how to use it well - finding a recording from a loose title, returning the whole-file summary for merged interviews, confirming before edits, and offering to re-summarize after you rename a speaker. It just works.

Privacy

The connection is scoped to your account through your QuestLog sign-in. Disconnect anytime from Claude's Connectors settings.

Troubleshooting

  • Sign-in popup blocked? Allow popups for the QuestLog page and try again.
  • Tools not showing? Remove and re-add the connector, and make sure you signed in with the same account (and method) you use for QuestLog.
